Welcome to the ‘Calming the Storm Weekend’ hosted by the Open Doors Ministry, organized by Reverend Onesmas Kibiru. This special event, held from October 6th to October 8th, 2023, was a transformative experience filled with faith, community, and spiritual growth.
Our mission was to help Casino’s residents find peace in the midst of life’s turbulence. The weekend was a true testament to the power of faith, bringing together people from all walks of life to explore their spiritual journey and discover the unshakable calm that faith can bring.

Embracing Faith

Under the guidance of Daniel Njoroge, the ‘Calming the Storm Weekend’ featured dynamic open-air gatherings. These gatherings allowed us to come together as a community and reflect on the teachings of the Bible. As the wind whispered through the open spaces, we found solace in nature and God’s grace.
Every morning, we started the day with enlightening Bible study sessions. These moments of reflection and spiritual guidance helped us gain a deeper understanding of the scriptures, ultimately leading us to a place of tranquility and faith.
