Charity History

Believing in God’s Word and Spirit

The Open Door Of Grace International Charity began its journey in 2007 when we sponsored six students to participate in a one-year discipleship course in Banbury, Oxfordshire. In collaboration with Dr. David M Adams, the course’s author, and myself, Reverend Onesmas Kibiru, we formed a partnership. In 2011, due to the government’s restrictions on international students studying in the UK, we relocated the course to Kenya, where there was a profound thirst for biblical teachings. Since then, we have successfully instructed and graduated numerous students, numbering in the tens if not hundreds. Our certificate program focuses on a one-year course in discipleship study, while our diploma program encompasses a broader scope, specifically biblical studies. The individuals who undertake these courses primarily consist of young people ranging from seventeen years of age to sixty years old.
In addition to our support for individuals in Africa, we have dedicated considerable effort in the UK towards assisting young people. By organizing music conferences and counseling sessions, we aim to bring young individuals together while addressing critical topics such as drug abuse prevention and violence avoidance during their formative years. Witnessing many young people establish families and gain employment has been an incredibly fulfilling outcome of our endeavors. We are also open to expanding our initiatives by establishing food banks, facilitating migrant integration courses, and establishing centers for faith studies. We consistently appeal to our donors to lend their support to sustain and further advance these invaluable efforts.
