A Place of Worship and Community

Our Church

Church History

Believing in God’s Word and Spirit

The Open Door of Grace, under the auspices of Revival Worship Centre, was founded in 1993 in response to a collective realization among a community of like-minded individuals that a fellowship was sorely needed in their locality. At the time, there was a conspicuous absence of a church specifically targeting the spiritual well-being of young people and children. However, with its inception, the church experienced an immediate surge in popularity, attracting hundreds of enthusiastic young individuals and children who were empowered to share their testimonies about Jesus, complemented by vibrant evangelistic efforts resulting in numerous conversions and miraculous healings.
Subsequently, the church’s influence extended beyond its initial target audience, drawing families from diverse tribal backgrounds, a trend that persists to this day. Over the years, the church has diligently cultivated and mentored both male and female leaders, sending them forth to establish successful ministries of their own. Additionally, the church has maintained a thriving Sunday school program, enabling children to mature into responsible adults and nurturing them into becoming conscientious parents. This unwavering focus on young people has contributed to a noticeable reduction in drug abuse and violence, as they are taught the importance of leading a wholesome and healthy lifestyle.
